Powers
This is a thread dedicated to the demigod abilities your characters may possess! Keep in mind that your character may not necessarily have all of these abilities.
Also, children of the following Gods, Poseidon, Hades and Apollo have the maximum of choosing two subcategories (words that end in 'kinesis'.) The reason being these Gods control multiple powers that do not connect with each other.(ex. Hydrokinesis and Geokinesis)

Cabin 1: Zeus
Aerokinesis: Manipulation of the air and wind.
-They can use it to fly, or ride the wind.
-Some can use the air to pick up objects, or push things back.
Atmokinesis: Control of the weather
-They are able to summon storms (One child of Zeus alone may only summon a small storm, but when with siblings the storms can grow larger.)
-They can summon rain clouds.
Electrokinesis: control over electricity.
-Can withstand electric shock.
-They can call down bolts of lightening from the sky to attack their opponents. (Can only mortally wound small or weak monsters, can injure demigods and larger, stronger monsters.)
-They have an enhanced leadership quality. Children of Zeus are natural born leaders, and often take that role in groups.
Cabin 3: Poseidon
Hydrokinesis: Manipulation and control over water.
- Able to breath under water for unlimited amounts of time.
-Water does not harm them in any way. (water pressure, falling into it from great heights, ext)
- Able to create air bubbles for those who cannot breath underwater.
- Able to manipulate water into solidified forms (do what you will with this one)
- They can will themselves dry in water.
- Higher resistance to fire and burns
- Able to communicate telepathically under water with sea creatures (or above water with Equines)
- Natural detection if water is salt or fresh
- Able to tell their exact nautical location when in salt water (on a boat or in the water)
-able to heal/strengthen themselves with water.
-Telekinetic ability to control boats and ships/know how to work them.
Geokenisis: control over the earth.
-Can create small earthquakes.
Atmokenisis: Control over wind and air.
-They can create small hurricanes for themselves
Cryokenisis: control over ice.
-limited ability to control ice.
Cabin 4: Demeter
Clorokinesis: Manipulation and control over plants.
- They can quickly grow and control plants.
-Children of Demeter are natural cooks.
Cabin 5: Ares
-They have enhanced strength, swiftness and combat skills.
-Children of Ares are naturals at using every weapon known to man
-Experts in war strategy
-Able to curse the weapons of their opponents to make them less dangerous
-Ares Blessing: The blessing Ares gives to his children when they do something impressive, honourable and brave in his eyes. This gives the demigod temporary invulnerability.
Cabin 6: Athena
-Children of Athena are experts in war strategy.
- Highly skilled in armed hand to hand combat.
- Possess high intelligence and wisdom.
- Instinctually know how to weave. (again, do what you will with this one.)
Cabin 7: Apollo
- Expert archers
- able to curse people to speak only in rhymes. (depending on the amount of Apollo children cursing the person, it could last for a couple days to a couple weeks.)
- excel in the arts
- skilled musicians
- skilled in physical contests and games
-some children of Apollo possess the gift of precognition (psychic abilities)
Vitakinesis: Ability to heal
- Children of Apollo are natural healers
- Can heal someone by singing to their father in ancient Greek
Photokenisis: Ability to manipulate light.
-Some children of Apollo possess the ability to manipulate light, not all do.
Cabin 8: Artemis
(Hunteresses)
- Naturally silver coloured aura
- Naturally stronger and faster than regular mortals and demigods.
- Immortal unless they fall in love or fall in battle
- Usually have the upper hand in battle because of their fighting abilities.
- Able to summon their bow and arrows whenever they need.
- Excellent aim with their bows and arrows.
- They can talk to wild animals
Cabin 9: Hephaestus
- Expert builders
-Can find and sense traps
Technokinesis: The ability to control and manipulate machines.
- They can sense machinery or metal.
- Can identify types of machinery and it's use by touch.
- Can sense faults in metal/machinery.
Pyrokinesis: Ability to control and manipulate fire.
-rare ability that Hephaestus blesses his children with every hundred years.
Cabin 10: Aphrodite
Amokenisis: Control over love and desire.
-Children of Aphrodite possess complete control over love and desire. (lasts only for a week or a couple days depending on the amount of children doing it)
-Charmspeak, selected children of Aphrodite can control people using the tone of their voice.
-Ability to speak fluent French.
-They possess high social abilities and awareness.
-Possess magical control over clothes, makeup and jewelry
Cabin 11: Hermes
-Skilled in theft and trickery
-High athletic ability
-They are persuasive
-Able to pick locks with their minds
-They can sense physical traps
-They are good at making potions and alchemy
-Good with money
Cabin 12: Dionysus
Chlorokinesis: Control over and manipulation of plants
-Able to control plants like grape and strawberry vines.
-Capable of causing or curing madness.
Cabin 13: Hades
Necromancy: ability to raise the dead.
-Can call forth the dead of the underworld
-Can release souls from spirits of the dead to the Underworld.
-Can sense when a mortal or halfblood they know has died
-Can destroy undead skeletons
-Can see/sense peoples life auras.
Umbrakinesis: Manipulation of shadows
-shadowtravel
Geokinesis: control of the earth
-Can part the earth and create cracks in it
-Can manipulate and control rocks and precious metals
-some can curse people
Cabin 14: Iris
-Possess good communication skills
-Good artists
-Good with art supplies
-They have good colour coordination
-They can change the pigments in colour. (Ex. Turn a red apple purple.)
Photokinesis: manipulation and control over light
-able to create rainbows
Cabin 15: Hypnos
-Hypnokinesis: ability to manipulate and control sleep
-Can alter sleeping patterns
-Can control dreams
-Can induce insomnia
-Can cause someone to become dreadfully tired all the time
-Can cause a subject to sleep forever
-Can remove the need for sleep
-Able to induce sleep
-Capable of memory retrieval
-Capable of memory alteration
-Able to use Hypnosis
-They can astral project/dream travel
Cabin 16: Nemesis
-At times can match their opponents skill.
-Very strategic
Cabin 17: Nike
-Can choose one area of expertise, where they are exceptionally good.
-It doesn't take them long to master things when they put their mind to it.
Cabin 18: Hebe
-Constant youthful appearance
-Can cause others to take the mindset of a child for a limited amount of time.
Cabin 19: Tyche
-Luck is generally on their side
-Can manipulate other peoples luck to an extent
Cabin 20: Hecate
-The only demigods who can truly cast magic
-Can cast spells by speaking in Ancient Greek
-Can levitate objects
-Can control the elements through magic.
-Can control the mist
Magical Weapons
These are weapons that possess a magical ability, like a pen that turns into a sword. Campers with magical items can choose at most two abilities their items possess, such as something like sonic waves and enchanting music. The two powers should preferably have something to do with each other. The items ability to change into something isn't necessarily a power it possesses.
